About-Ā This unique variety got its name for having long, thread-like individual flower clusters and seedpods. Great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds as well as a wonderful, fragrant cut flower that blooms in shades of white, pink, rose and violet. Requires little care and thrives in hot weather and drought conditions.
When and Where to Plant-Ā Seeds require light to germinate and should not be covered by more than 1/16" of soil. Start indoors 2-4 weeks before last frost or outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Prefers full sun and well draining soil.
Care and Harvest-Ā Remove dead flowers to encourage re-blooming. Do not over water. To use as a cut flower, harvest when buds are closed but show some color.
